ERIC CARLE'S WORLD

Eric Carle  was born in USA (1929). He is  the creator (illustrator and author) of picture books for very young children. Eric Carle moved with his parents to Germany when he was six years old. In 1952 he returned to USA.

Eric Carle has illustrated more than seventy books, most of which he also wrote. His first book was 'Brown bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?' written by Bill Martin Jr;  Eric Carle was the illustrator. 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'  is very famous and has been translated to 48 languages.

Eric Carle es un autor e ilustrador de libros infantiles. Su primer libro como ilustrador fue "Brown bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?" de Bill Martin, Jr. En los demás libros, él fue escribiendo e ilustrando con su técnica de collage, que se reconoce facilmente, lo hace con figuras casi siempre recortadas sobre un fondo blanco.
